It was only a matter of time until the first, epic Thankful thread filled. Despite all our troubles, we are all in our own ways very fortunate.

Standard TDS rules apply, of course. No triggering content, no glorification of drug use/self harm and the like. You all know the drill.

Today, I'm thankful to be able to start a thread of such fine pedigree, and that I have only one more working day until my holiday break! Also: that I get to make macadamia caprese for my friends to devour tomorrow. :D

My medicine that finally works that is finally paid for by medicaid.

Can't work without meds, Can't be eligible for affordable healthcare if I work. Snake eating it's own tale, but I think I've got this one hooked. Very thankful.
 
Today I am thankful that I have finished work for the year. Looking forward to food filled holiday spent with my best friend who I am really thankful for that after nearly 20 years we still get on great and he always looks out for my health and makes sure that I eat something each day as he knows that without him I would just starve myself each day.
 
The fact that I somehow went 8 days without getting high.

And also for my dad coming tomorrow, and for having fun with my cousins today. :)
 
The wise words and kind people that can be found here, The fact im sittin out today in a bad spot but have occupied some time and have gotten some food for thought from my readings and connected with people.
 
I was invited to have holiday dinner at someone's house.
That really makes me feel good.
 
Today I am thankful that I am lucky enough to spend the day with my best friend who is cooking us xmas dinner.
Will say a prayer for all the homeless people and people spending the day on their own.
 
There's no one quite like a mother is there Herbavore?They are usually the one person in life that will be there for you no matter what.
I'd like to say that I am also thankful for my mum and just wish I hadn't disappointed her so many times in my life.

Today I'm thankful for acceptance. For the good, the bad and the recognition that these two are often the very same thing
 
today i am thanful for the good rest i have had over thelast few days and for my bluelight friends keeping me sane and also my beautiful man, family and my kitty all of which have been my life line.

i miss my boy though, stupid crps making me un able to look after him. nurses weremeant to come todyand they didn't :( it's my man's bday on the 30th and i need them to help me look pretty for him, do my hair etc. i hate being so dependent it is horrid
