Thankful to still be with my family another year. This has been a tuff year for sure. I miss all my fallen friends I lost to death these last several years. I guess loss is a part of living. We have to take the bad with the good. Otherwise we are dead already.

I have actually decided that when I am on holidays I am going to try making a pumpkin pie for the first time!! Thanks to herbavore for making me crave pumpkin pie (even though I've never even had it!) nearly every day since we discussed it in the TDS Social thread like 2 weeks ago

too many people to list this morning but (()) to all of you and, not to start anything new n3o, but in addition to the pumpkin pie, I also made apple/pear/cranberry and buttermilk pecan. So pie and whip cream to all of you--I am thankful for so many people here.

Also, I have to say it, I am thankful for having had twenty years with Caleb. I am also thankful for friends that know how to celebrate right in the heart of sadness, denying neither grief nor joy.

So, in one word, THANKFUL.
