What are your thoughts, experiences if any and opinions on penile implants (a penile prosthesis)? Has any guy here had one implanted? Has any women here been with a guy who had one?

I dont think it has anything to do with a larger package.. Some times people with medical conditions need to get these to treat erectile dysfunction. Diabetes would be a common disease that often results in needing this.

Without presuming to know why you are asking...all I can say is that it seems incredibly risky for such a sensitive and delicate organ.

Are you talking about the sort of implants that allow impotent men to have erections (as i think neversickanymore is referring to)?
Or is it a size thing?
If it is the latter, I'd recommend watching this documentary.

Frankly i don't know much about the topic, besides what this film explores - but it is a fairly interesting investigation of western attitudes towards male sexuality, body acceptance, ideas of what is "normal" and the inadequacy some men feel in terms of their anatomy.
The conclusions drawn regarding surgery are quite negative, but it is approached with an open mind. An interesting film, regardless of its relevance to the viewer.

I was very bothered by the size of my prepubescent penis in junior high when I had PE with other men. I felt young and unworthy, so I never would take a shower after gym class. Just put on extra deodorant in my armpits and even in my hair. You have to learn how to use your penis.

Also I think an implant would really fuck up your sensitivity and kinda defeat the whole purpose.

A high quality penis pump will make your penis longer and thicker if you use it daily, as well as increase the size of your erection after a few months. I find them fun for once in a blue moon for masturbation purposes, but I never really ended up using one daily in years.

Penis implants? Ha. Jesus. Can't say I've ever known anybody who did that, but then again, I don't think people would go around advertising that.. or maybe they would, ha. I have no idea. Hasn't ever been a concern of mine luckily.

But, just to give my opinion anyway, I think unless you have like an abnormally small penis, then do not get something as serious as surgery on your dick. If you're just average or a little below average, then focus on other things, like getting better at sex (as having a big dick does not make you a better lover), your personality, charm, overall game, etc.

Money doesn't hurt either. Hah. The real surgery for a tiny dick is a big bank account.

from what i read on the net it seems to be something that is used to treat erectile dysfunction

in which case i would exhaust ever alternative option there is to surgery (e.g. ive read hundreds of anecdotal reports of 'nofappers' curing their ED after 1-3 months)

I once worried about the size of my own junk back in high school, would avoid shower in HS Gym etc as Val has stated above as I really didn't want to be scene (although no one would have dared say anything as I was sorta a "leader" among my pairs, and I knew all the upperclassmen). I know it's been two years since this has been commented on but I thought I would weigh in on this topic.

I have a penile implant.
Expected duration is about 18 years, at which time Medicaid will pay 100% to have it replaced. It is considered a quality of life issue I think.
They do not make you "bigger"(in fact it sometimes makes you 1/4 to 1/2 shorter for the first few months) but it does add more girth.
When inflated it makes you, literally, hard as granite with no give.
And yes, it stay that way no matter how many happy endings you have and for as long as you desire.
I had an open marriage with my ex and it provided hours and hours and hours of fun....before we were done that day.

This pretty much - Yeah there a guys who do the implants along the shaft which is considered body modifications, there are guys that do the silicon implants etc.

I've never encountered one - seen one IRL.
