My Opinion on how to Properly Inject black-tar, purchased in the Desert State
To start with, just remember this is just my advice on how to inject yourself with heroin from how I used to do it, and not a guide to go by. Everyone has their own quirks, and this is just the method i used for about 2 years of abusing the drug. NOTE: I don't advise trying heroin, as it is VERY FUCKING addictive, and kept me from living my life to it's fullest for about 2 years, sucking me deeper and deeper into a stinking pit of addiction. That being said, It is one of the best feelings on earth to achieve, despite the pain it causes afterward. Also - i make note on how to do what i call "Scraping the spoon", which is cleaning the spoon either during/after the injection to get more mixture into your injection, or for later on for when you're just desperate. Please remember that this was just how I did it, and most people would say that this step is simply a waste, etc.....
With that, here you are!
To start with, you take whatever amount of compound you would like to do (depending on tolerance, quality, etc......) and place it into the center of a stainless steel spoon. You then take the CLEAN/FRESH syringe you just purchased (never trust someone else to give you a clean syringe, as this will get you hepatitis C or some other form of disease), and draw up anywhere from, in my opinion, .35cc-.70cc (Depending on how dark you want the mixture, how much you're using, and what size syringe you're using. Naturally if its a .5cc syringe [one with a bar that reads up to 50units] you would only want to use .35cc of water) and squirt the water into the spoon. Then grab a lighter or a few matches for the next step.
While heating the spoon, gently shake to help mix the dope while heating the mixture evenly. DON'T let the mixture boil or you will lose a portion of dope, when its all dissovled, you can either attempt to suck it up with the syringe, or drop a small piece of cotton (from a Q-tip), about half the size of a match head, into the liquid to help filter the undissolved pieces into the syringe. Here the process varies, as you can wash your spoon now to attempt to draw up more dope, or save the residue for after your hit. (To wash the spoon, add a drop or two of water to the spoon and then use either a knife, paper clip, or even the tip of your needle to move the cotton swab around the spoon, collecting all the black residue. You can then either attempt to draw through the cotton swab again, or you can add a tad bit more water, move the swab towards the end of the spoon [the tip that is away from the handle], apply pressure with your CLEAN finger to force the dope mixture into the center of the spoon where you can then suck it up with the syringe directly.) I then hold the syringe tip up, draw a bit of air into the syringe, then and move it downward through the air in a rapid motion to force all of the bubbles out and also force the mixture downward. You then push the plunger upwards (Towards the tip) to force out any excess air, trying to squirt out as little mixture as possible (You may want to get a VERY SLIGHT DROP to emerge from the tip to ensure the needle is not clogged before you puncture yourself)
The next part is rather self explanatory, it involves tying your arm off using a belt, etc.... to get a vein to expose itself, then puncturing the vein with your needle tip. You'll know you have a vein when you pull the plunger a bit and draw blood (which you have to do to make sure you have a vein, and are therefor not wasting the hit. Just pushing the mixture into your skin without finding a vein is known as skin-popping, which burns like hell and also, in my opinion, wastes the hit. Some people think this still affects you, but they say it takes time to dissolve into your blood stream and in turn doesn't hit you as fast/hard). After you have successfully found a vein, and drawn blood into the syringe, push the plunger down, forcing the mixture into your bloodstream (If this burns, immediately stop and try to draw blood again. If you don't get any blood but just air, the needle popped out of the vein and you're skin popping it, so pull the needle out a little bit, and do some digging until the air left in the syringe fills up with blood, meaning you found the vein. NOTE: It could also burn because the mixture is too hot, so if you do still draw blood, continue to push the mixture into your blood.)
After the syringe is completely empty of mixture, you can either simply extract the needle, while applying slight pressure over the spot where needle tip is being extracted from to stop the area from bleeding. I however like to leave the needle in, undo my tie, and draw/inject blood once or twice to ensure that the mixture is fully mixed into my blood stream and away from the area where i'll be removing the needle, so none of the mixture is wasted.
