This is something that I have just recently encountered.
In all my past experience of opiates, i have IVed morphine, heroin, oxycodone, and methadone. in both small and very large amounts, for all of them.
Now in my experience, methadone far exeeds every other opiate i have IVed in terms of rush. The methadone rush blows my head off, and it feels like my body is rapidly expanding with pure pleasure. It is very intense.
Heroin IVed is more warm and fills me up slowly, its more fuzzy and blanket-like and quite nice.
Another thing, the rush - to - high ratios are very very different. For example, after a big heroin rush i will be slurring my words, stumbling, nodding and overall quite high, and noticably. I cant search for better rushes from heroin because i will be much too high afterwards.
Methadone on the other hand, the rush is so much furthur away from the high. What i mean by this is that, after a massive methadone rush, i mean so intense that it almost becomes uncomfortable, the high that follows is not necessary very intense. Methadone is one of the least-sedating opiates I have shot, and while i feel fucking fantastic, i dont feel anywhere near as intoxicated as heroin. I dont slur my speach or stumble or anything like that really at all. And yet the rush at the start will be twice or three times as strong as a rush from heroin that would have me semi conscious afterwards.
anyway i was just wondering if anybody else has similar experiences? I dont do this stuff really since starting uni again but it still got me curious when i mentioned it to some people and they seemed to think methadone wasnt very desirable.
methadone is by far my DOC, and i would choose it over heroin, morphine or oxy anytime, if i were to do opiates again. It just feels so much better, in rush and in high.
So can anybody relate?
