my friends and i have been invited to build our burning man art installation at this festival but i fear it's too short notice to get people together.

has anybody been to this before? how many people attend? what's it like?

I've been for the past 6 years. Its sold out the venue before and has come close the other years. I can honestly say its the best party of the year at a sick ass venue. It's kind of like Neo-Raver meets Old School Hippie...
 
That's Gay Pride Weekend in SF and we'd probably have to drive from the Bay Area.

I think we might like to go, though. I've been meaning to go for years.

I'm going for my third year in a row. I'm suprised more bluelighters aren't going. The web site is very well done and worth a look. If you've never been and are considering, I'd strongly reccomend it.

This years linup is very similar to last years, which is a good thing because last years was linup was perhaps the sickest lineup I have ever seen for a single event. Even though theres only a few of us, we should set up a Bluelighters meet-up, start a tradition.
 
ya this will be my 4th edc. its always a good way to kick off the summer. tons of people, about 5 main areas plus alot of small ones and someone mentioned the reggae bus. its a chill environment during the day, people just chillin in the grass blowing dank to some reggae and house. later on in the night the freaks come out and everyone is fucked up. this year it goes til 4 too, normally it goes only til 2

itl be my first and im a bit nervous since its a massive....at least 10k with capacity for 30k. i only have 1 friend going with me. ive looked at pics from past EDC event s and everyone is in their 20s! me and my friend are still in our teens.

does anybody know how strict they are in enforcing the no drugs policy? i plan on brining xanax and adderall (both prescribed to me) but i dont want to bring the entire bottle
 
Okay, so no one else seems to care, so I'll take the inititive.

There's a little bridge over the north part of the lagoon (I think its north anyways, its the side right by the big hanger). I'm gonna chill on the bridge around 6pm, so if any other bluelighters want to meet up or whatnot, thats the spot to be. Hope to meet some of you!

nah most of the kids are late teens , early twenties.

they search you good going in, so theres no way they'd let you bring in any drugs or anything that looks like drugs.

but you can always but them in a bag up your ass!

Well i already go tmy ticket because the DNB line up is sick. It'll be my 4 th EDC. Any other bluelighters gonna be there for sure? Im down for a meet if alot of people are going.
