Do you deface people who are challenging?
Or let other stressors define how others experience you?
Do you suppress peoples words, press them into response
And reject them for being under your control?

Did you ever try to save someone, and your expectations built while they still kept on
So your perfect intuition says they failed?
But in the beginning, you offered them the world?
A patient, loving, career in looking for an appreciation they have but can’t express?

Are you more than they deserve?
Do you think a lot of them, but feel you’d be cursed if they knew that?
What I’d they don’t deserve your grace, and they feel that?
And they make you cry at times, for good or bad?

Like the human condition is a spectrum
And events can be turned on their head with a word otherwise
If you hold your card right
They can’t fight you, they can’t win.

And if they grow weary and sour themselves, it explodes.
It’s the same thing all the time.
If you pick peoples battles for them for a perfect love or perfect attendance
No one can show you up and feel how you deserve to

It’s okay
You’re my hero anyway
Someday, you’ll find someone better
I hope I can get better

Being a failure hurts more than words can describe when angels in your life break down to worldly despair and you both think unfairly as they fall away from the clouds they tried to set you on

Please let other people fix things for you
They can if you affix them to a freer place in your imperfect heart
