Benzos Xanax withdrawal after 5 months "as needed" usage, how to do it?

How do I safely withdraw from Xanax after about 5 months usage, and I was not using it every day.... There really was no pattern. Only few times I took it 2 days in a row.... I would take it few times a week, every other day or so.

Dosage is 0.25 mg and few times 0.5 mg per day. But more in the range of 0.25mg/day (I have 0.25mg bars).

Should I somehow taper down or what?
 
your on a low dose, just talk to your doctor about tapering down to get off, it shouldn't be hard your taking i think the smallest dose you can. it wont be bad at all
 
R U shure theyr'e similar at withdrawals..? isnt's xanax more painful..?

All Benzos are same withdrawals some just last longer then others but if any of them used long enough and higher dosage worse it is and same with longer its been used is the general rule.
 
seriously doubt you are EXP WD if you truly did take it as needed
such a low dose and time frame
what exactly are you feeling? maybe it's rebound anxiety?
the need to taper is if you are taking it daily and multiple doses a day
sounds like it could be your own anxiety causing issues
