Xanax for gabapentin withdrawal, will it work?

Ok, I have Xanax but I do have a moderate bento tolerance since I was on klonopin for seven years and now I have to stop because of my suboxone doc. I'm about to run out of gabapentin and I'm wanting to know if Xanax will curb the withdrawals. Klonopin never did and it made me more depressed.

Do you guys see any hope in this withdrawal with Xanax?

It still activates gaba receptors, albeit gaba a instead of gaba b but I would think it would at least help some if not totally. I can't see it making it worse, but then everyone's interactions with chemicals vary. I would definitely try it at a low dose first to see how it goes.

yes. to answer your question, it would activate the gaba receptors WAY harder than gabapentin does.. therefore in theory, it would.

I was dependent and withdrawing from a similar gabapentinoid and I took some ativan, and felt right as rain. It will work.
