Would it matter if your doctor had tattoos?

There is one caution - in australia they will not let you give blood if you've had a tatt in the past year. Now one might assume a Doc would take care in just who did his ink and how, but... these ARE the people (some of them) who have been known to hand out antibiotics for flu.

Would you want to come out of surgery with a blood disease because your Doc cut himself and you got infected?

Other than that, I don't give a damn - tatts are just tatts - doesn't say anything about the person except they like ink.

It wouldn't bother me. A GP I know has purple hair, tattoos and facial piercings, she says she's gotten a lot of compliments from patients.
