Withdrawal-like effects from GABA-B upregulation? (Fasoracetam)

In the absence of opiates I've been using phenibut more than I should and was wondering if whether GABAB up regulation could cause benzo like withdrawals? People actually use fasoracetam to mitigate phenibut withdrawal/tolerance but the anxiolytic effects that many report has me wondering if there is withdrawals from this particular racetam. Like most other racetams people say you need to take it for a month or so to get the full effects. I would like to take it for both its nootropic effects and for my phenibut use but don't want another round of GABA hell.

Well, certainly there are quite a number of closely related compounds that do cause a similar abstinence syndrome and 'abuse' (I'm always suspicious of that term) has been reported in HR. I was taught that their is a cast iron law that 'their is no CNS depressant that does not cause physical dependence' but that was the 80s.
