WIll this grain to grain work? Is it stalled?

SO I had rye berry bags that I spawn, but prior to, I transferred the rye into brown rice and coffee. The sterile transfer worked but will the mycelium start growing on the rice? Last time I tried brown rice, it stalled after 2 weeks, so I'm not sure why I tried it again. These are 4 different jars btw.

Should work ok? Usually I read people use brown rice flour instead of whole grains, but there's teks where you just use a precooked baggie of rice with spores or spawn, tape it over and those things grow mycelium just fine. Maybe it stalled because it was too wet, too dry, not enough air circulation, heat, or just not an aggressive colonizing strain?

I've just transferred some azurescens and cyanescens spawn to a couple of jars, simply pasteurised some wood and stuffed it, pretty much in the same position you're in now. Waiting to see if it goes right and fills up the whole thing without too much problems.
