Opioids Will 25mg Hydroxyzine increase or decrease the effect of codeine?

I know Hydroxyzine is a cyp2d6 inhibitor but I dont know to what extend.

If I take 50mg Hydroxyzine for sleep, and then take codeïne the next day will it be active? There would still be about 25mg Hydroxyzine in my blood by that time.

Possibly, hydroxyzine has a long half life. I think you basically answered your own question. To the extent at which Hydroxyzine will potentiate, no one here can really tell you, that has to do with individual metabolism and the like.

Depends what you call 'long'. I feel hydroxyzine clear my system, like really feel it, after exactly 24 hours. Current wisdom has it at 23-49 hours.
