Why People Laugh after consuming weed?

From five decades of personal experience in one word: Euphoria.

The world seems just slightly strange and it is humorous to them in their state of altered conscienceness, as well as a general loss of inhibitions and connection to things that may weigh them down in the ordinary state of concienceness.
 
Things become remarkably more soft and playful. The sheer disparity provokes lots of gratitude and solace for some people.
