I don't think meth vapor reaches the intestines

I used to take huge hits of weed and minutes later I would burp up some smoke. However, I have no idea if it actually reached the stomach or was just stuck in my esophagus

Yeah a relatively small amount of smoke can end up in the stomach if you swallow it but I don't see how it would reach the intestines.
Just saying that meth can cause some of the things mentioned in this thread and the vapor/smoke doesn't actually need to come in contact with the stomach, intestines, etc.
