What's worst about the USA

quite funny also that the American tourist board tells its populous that the best way to avoid trouble aboard is to pretend to be Canadian .:D

9 pages, 200+ posts . . . quite possibly a record for EUKADD.

Shows how strongly people feel when even us bunch of lazy wasters write this much on something ;) :)

TRANSLATION: We could go outside the US if we want, but we might fall off the edge of the world, or be eaten by a Taliban Sea-serpant. Those of us who are enlightened enough to realise the world is spherical would travel, if only the risk of being attacked by a muslim-boogieman wasn't too high.

You just made me spit my beer out onto the screen!

The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki is the most brutal single act of crime in the history of mankind.

more people were killed by samari swords in WWII than the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki....

still VERY VERY wrong, but just something to think about

i think just about everything is wrong with this country, i should know, i live here. all i know is if i ever have kids i will NOT raise them here.

but like you've mentioned, alot of the people here a good people, just unfortunate victims.

Yeah, I'd be a bit fucked off if I was a Canadian, and every time I went abroad people just assumed I was just an American too cowardly to admit to it =D

Yes, don't try to change it. Don't try to make it the land of the free (clearly that doesn't include the free to dislike the USA) or the home of the brave (it's already the land which officially says it is far better for innocent civilians to die in their homes than for invading US troops to be put at risk). Just get the fuck out. Go to an unAmerican place like Canada or Mexico...

Congratulations on your fine submission of model English grammar to provide an example for those accursed immigrants.

it's kinda weird that the so called "world wrestling federation" has nothing to do with neither the world nor wrestling

They hold events all over the world and have many wrestlers of nationalities other than American.

The artform that is pro wrestling incorporates a lot of "amateur" wrestling technique into it.

I find it a lot stupider that major league baseball holds a "world" series that only includes teams from the USA and Canada.

Story taken from the legal q/a forum

So I Got Charged With DUI

Not DUI for drinking or anything, but because I was at a tire repair shop getting two new front tires. While I was there someone called the police and told them I was "on something". The car I was driving was a car I just started to drive, and I didn't know the speedomeder was off by ~10mph.

So I leave the store and get pulled over a little ways down the road. I thought that I was going the speed limit, but the cop said I was going 35 in a 25 zone. I had been drinking blue gatoraide and eating popcorn at the store, so my tounge was a greenish color. The cop thought that meant that I was on weed. Anyway, I don't drink or do any drugs other than those prescribed to me. I wasn't swerving or anything like that. So they give me all kinds of sobriety tests by my car. The cop wrote out a ticket for DUI at about 5:30pm. I wasn't actually arrested and booked until around 9pm.

After the field tests, they took me to the police station where they gave me the same tests over again. I took a piss test and all it showed is what I'd told them - that all I'd taken that day was my meds - xanax and dilaudid which I have taken for almost a year(xanax almost 2 years) so I have a tolerance to both - they accused me mostly of being on speed. I think that is because I am bipolar and sometimes I can be quite manic with out realizing it. Oh, the cops told me "Someone at Les Schwab Tires called us - they see many people everyday and can tell when someone is messed up". I found out later that their policy is to not get involved with things like this. An employee told me that. A customer actually called.

I was given so many tests, they also called in a "specialist" from the Idaho State Patrol after a while. They never actually told me which test I failed. I hadn't even taken very much of my meds because my tire blew out in the middle of the day and I didn't have any with me, so I had actually taken less of them than usual. Being at the station with four cops messsing with me gave me an anxiety attack.

Anyway, at court I plead not guilty. They offered me a lesser charge of inatentive driving, which I declined. I go to trial in November.

I'd appreciate any advice anyone can give me. Oh, and no neither of the labels on my two meds say not to drive, just to use caution, which I do. (This happened in Idaho).

Hello,
I'm an american and 21. I have just about had it with this cesspool of a nation. I'm looking into other places to live and raise my son. Politics is crap. I think the Soviets were right, we ARE Imperialist pigs. Nowadays we don't physically colonize places, but we will have our media and brands there. Most Americans don't think they can change things, this is for good reason, we CAN'T. I think this is one of the most corrupt places on the face of the earth. Its disgusting how the working class is exploited. Its disgusting seeing rich autocrats born with a silver spoon in their mouth driving around in European sports cars. If America is go good, why do you need a "foreign"(well, Mercs are made in Georgia and BMW's are made in Alabama) car. Its amazing that you have people working in hotels that can and will never be able to afford to stay in. How you have poor people building million dollar homes for rich assholes that sit on their ass. Its amazing that if your surname is Bush or Kennedy, you can get away with murder, or even an election hi-jacking. I hate that I pay money to Social security that I will never get, nor will my parents most likely. I HATE HOW THE POLICE CAN COME IN YOUR HOUSE AND TAKE SOMETHING AND NOT EVEN TELL YOU THEY WERE THERE. THE "AMERICAN DREAM", is just that, ITS A DREAM. With Iraq, I say let em live as they are. If they kill each other they kill each other, fuck em'. Now being 21, I could possibly be drafted into Vietnam War part too. BUSH IS HITLER--"SAME SHIT-DIFFERENT ASSHOLE"

SORRY ABOUT THE GRAMMAR MISTAKES-BENEFITS OF THE US EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.

Being born in (then) a communist country with government imposed by the Soviets, the US seemed like the ultimate symbol of freedom for us.
No taxation without representation, freedom of speech, private property, plentiful of consumer goods and general opulence.
Meanwhile the Iron Curtain fell down, my country started drifting towards the West and the EU (which it's proud to be a member of, whatever we all think about the European red-tape, it does mean so much to us).
I managed to get a grant to study in the US for a year at one of the best unis (financed by a private foundation, so no US taxpayer money had to cover my poor ass).
I loved the unversity, I loved travelling through the country.
What struck me though, was the degree to which the US was a police state already at that point (since then it must've gotten worse).
I mean everyone shaking at the sound of the po-po, constant searches in student dorms, people snitching on their roommates for drinking or smoking, forced arrests, fake IDs...
I remember shit like that from the dark days of communist Eastern Europe and could not believe my eyes.
In the name of falsely understood security Americans have lost their freedom and the ability to think independently.
Wake up people, before your country does something irreversible.

FUN WITH FIREARMS

Like all good speedfreaks we invested a fair amount of money in guns.. I personally had two handguns (a 9mm Glock 17 and a small .38 revolver) along with a 20 gauge semi-automatic shotgun, between the 4 people living in the house we had some real stopping power, one of the guys was able to get a fully automatic AR-15 .. anyway, throw in all the IV meth you can pump into your arms and stay awake for a week - wackiness will ensue ..

... there are currently 3 people living in our lab, one is away out of state and the other has made a cash run that will take him at least 2 hours.. so it's just me and a friend, well, we here the door open but the "entry phrase" isn't announced.. see, this was our system, when you left to go somewhere you would say some random phrase, when you returned home you had to say the same phrase if all was cool, if there were problems (ie the DEA got you and forced you to go back home to bust your fellow cooks) you would announce some other phrase .. well, the door opens and nothing is said.. to make a long story short - a 20 gauge shot is fired through the bedroom door, luckily it missed the intruder - the girlfriend of the roomate that failed to cancel his plans with her when he had to make the unexpected cash run.. needless to say, after she finished crying she left to never return, they later broke up .. I wonder why?
