Rubber is most certainly my favorite movie of 2011 (or was it 2010?), but imho I don't think it counts as a short. Trailor maybe, but when the full length is available (not to mention [mr. oizo and gaspard auge]'s killer soundtrack) well, I preferred this one:

Both of these are from the same director, Jamin Winans. He directed Ink, one of my favorite sci-fi movies. I'd love to see this guy with a huge budget, because he works wonders on a small scale.
