What kavalactone dosage causes what effects?

I have kava-kava powder specified by seller as 30% kavalactones extract. I read the recommended dosage of kavalactones is 70-210 mg. I tried 500-1000 mg of my powder (150-300 mg of kavalactones), and I cant say is it the effect or placebo. At this moment I am withdrawing clonazepam from low doses (0.25-0.5 mg for 4 months usage) and titrated to sub 0.1 mg doses. Can it be that my GABA receptors are still not recovered and I do not feel the effects of kava-kava? What dose can I use safely to feel something in benzo tolerance case?

If you got the kava from a retail store, it most likely is much weaker than anything you can find online. Most have upwards of 55% or higher of kavalactones, so the dosage required is going to be much higher. I do not use it, so i dont know the exact dosage, but i would advise finding a good source online, and possibly getting the kavalactone paste that has approximately 80% kavalactones
