I made a thread and in that thread a member said be very careful about taking cocaine at work because the come down are really bad.

What are the comes down like? What is the feeling and symptom?

For me, i get dysphoric and somewhat depressed. I had an inability to focus and could only think about doing more coke.

The more you do, the more dopamine you spend and the harder you crash.

For me I always felt that every other person I interacted with was a complete asshole out to make my day miserable. I had things the wrong way around.

weed/xanax. Take a couple of ibuprofen when you're done. Clean your nose, buy some nasal spray then roll up your green, then you set.

In the early beginnings of doing it, the comedowns were really depressing for me. If I had to say a feeling it would be extreme anxiety, a very lonely feeling. But after I had done it a while I didn't feel as depressed as I use to be, I just was jonesing for some more coke. Benzo's and alcohol cured my comedowns.

I havent done every drug under the sun, but cocaine crashes are the worst imo.
Iy may not be as drawn out as a meth crash, but its still worse somehow.

Short and intense, just like the high.

Meth has a 12 hour half life, so the come down is a bit more gradual.

To me it makes me feel irritable and miserable and makes me crave more coke. I would definitely hate to be at work while coming down from coke, because all I'll be able to focus on is how much I want to do more coke, and if I do more coke, the comedown gets worse after the high wears off again.

I'm not sure what you mean it be worse at work. Do you mean you feel like you cannot focus at work or would you feel more a profound state of unease and detachment.

It is not like having cold or flu.

You could go to your car and snort some more cocaine.

When I was young my family would pile into a car and go to Florida for Christmas. For a young kid that vacation was exciting and when it came time to end and knowing I left some unfinished business at my school that I had to go back to would make my stomach drop. Butterflies in a bad way. Very depressing. Times that feeling by 1000 and that is the way I felt coming down off of cocaine. That drop in the stomach and looming depression. The only thing that relieved that was either more cocaine or heroin. But yeah, look at the habits that can develop. :) Not good.

I mean I would not be able to focus. For me the high doesn't last long and I would have to take lots of breaks to do more, and if I ran out it would make working unpleasant, so personally I wouldn't bother with doing it at work.

So is it the craving is really intense and that is what is causing the not be able to focus. And feel a profound state of unease and detachment. Or is it more like hangover or having the cold or flu.

If some one said you have go to work being sick having the cold or flu or a hangover from wild night drinking binge on the weaken or cocaine come down what would be worse.

Crack is worse.smoke a forty rock in rwo houes snd sat thinking i want.more but whats.point then u end yp rakkng jeroin to get tne cl!edown away

Ever seen scarface? That's basically it, there isn't really a comedown.

Except the extreme agitation that causes one to mouth off at mob bosses and.. you know.. murder people.

From the NY times: "The dominant mood of the film is... bleak and futile: what goes up must always come down. When it comes down in Scarface, the crash is as terrifying as it is vivid and arresting."

To which you reply, "No, he was high when he killed people".

To which i reply, "Oh, even better."

Nah, more like a state of unease. As for which would be worse, it really depends on the person. For example, my hangovers are usually pretty mild, even when I drank heavily the night before, as long as I make sure to stay hydrated while drinking. So personally I would rather go to work hung over than while sick or coming down from coke. But maybe for other people their hang overs are much worse, and they would prefer to be sick or coming down from coke.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is it more like you have cold or flu and your body feel really shitty? Or is it more profound state of unease and detachment because of thinking about the high? And it the high you want really bad?

One poster here said some thing about unfinished businesses at school.

But that use other analogy than, that say you are 16 years old and you left your porn at school and you forgot it at school and had to go on vecation for month!! You not going to have good vecation where you are thinking every hour the teacher may find your porn. It the thought that you left some thing you where doing or is it strong craving you what to get high.

Okay that use other analogy than, you not going to be able to watch TV, play video game or be into porn if you got news your loved one got shot 7 times and they are taking him or her by helicopter to the trauma unit. You going be unease not be able to focus and feel like pacing back and forth and what is the news is the person going to die or live. Is that what sorta going on. And any minute you can make it go away. If this is how the cocaine come down is to some people it is interesting why the come down cause this unease to feel like that. And I had to use that analogy because word here unease does not mean much for people who have not had experience of unease in life like that.

Where the unease can be how your body feels and everyone can understand really bad cold or flu and anyone can understand with no analogy needed. Or the unease can have nothing to do with how your body feels but in your head like a loved one that got shot 7 times that how intense the unease . And you like is the person going to die or live.

You can't explain what an Apple is to some one who has never seen an Apple. So that why I used that analogy like what the other poster above was saying. If this is what is going on it is well interesting why the come down causes the unease to feel like that. Where does this unease come from and what is it. Other than so intense it is like a loved one that got shot 7 times that how intense the unease. And you like is the person going to die or live.

Now is craving that intense?

This thread is becoming very metaphorical and poetic in search of the best way to illustrate that fact that the average coke comedowns at work are kind of a combination of flu-like skin crawling and being extremely hangry for a kebab at 3 AM on saturday morning after drinking since the previous Friday and being kicked out of the club.

I'm not sure what you mean? Are you saying the analogy of loved one that got shot 7 times is not that intense the unease and craving or are you saying it is much more intense than that?

And every minute feel like torture. And minutes will feel like hours and hours will feel like days. That is how unease you are?

Can you explain better.

You're happy feelings quickly turn into extremely negative feelings. You know when you have the flu and you just have that almost indescribable malaise; like a pain or aching of your entire body? It is just an incredibly uncomfortable feeling both mentally and physically. If you don't have a sedative to take, you will most likely spend a few hours lying in bed feeling like total shit, tired but cannot sleep.

During this phase, you will be most likely cycling through extremely depressing thoughts and anxiety in between moments of extreme hunger for more Cocaine. Essentially, what goes up must come down with Cocaine. What you get up front, you inevitable pay for on the back end. This doesn't even include waking up the next morning. If you were drinking Alcohol as well, this will be a difficult experience.
