I just "bumped" another voacanga africana thread but well, in anycase
I think there's SO MUCH POTENTIAL with voacanga-like and iboga-like molecular structures they are totally forgotten, probably because the synth is not so easy, but well, it can be done. The thing with Ibogaine is that it's an atypical psychedelic that it's closer to a oneirogen than any other psych, it can create REM states during awake states, that should be enough to have bazillions of PH.D. students looking into it, but well, that is not happening...
there's a couple herbal families that can have that potential, to have some interesting molecules, seems that the Tabernaemontana family it's the more obvious but there's another families (like trachelospermum) with ibogaine-like structures and seems that they can create very different effects...
