What does tramadol do to your serotonin - system? Is tramadol dangerous ?

Whats up guys,

Im taking tramadol since 4 months I guess.
Of course not regurarly just once a week or once for 2 weeks.
When I google tramadol i find that it realises serotonin, on other websites it says its a sero reuptake inhibitor.

I dont know where I read this but someone told me that tramadiol can fuck up ur sero system, cant remember why.

When I take tramadol it works quite like GHB. And I am not sure but it feels like its realising serotonin so I feel kinda depressed next day, sometimes when I take too much, I feel depressed immediately and i look like that:

I dont know if i feel depressed because of the lack of sleep coz i get insomnia when i take it, or because my sero gets depleted.
Of course its nothing like Im popping an xtc and feel depressed for one week but something is there.

The highest doses which i Took was 750mg per day.
I have these pills from my grandma.

As you were told in the other thread. High doses of tramadol are dangerous. The threshold is 400mg but seizures have indeed been seen below this.

Tramadol has SNRI properties which is why serotonin syndrome is also a risk when taking such high doses or when mixing it with drugs such as 5HTP/lexapro.

100 mg todas las mañanas me hace sentir motivación por los quehaceres de la vida y mi trabajo y me atenúa mucho mi dolor neuropático de un nervio que se daño después de una fractura de apofisis de dos vértebras fracturadas ...lo que me complica es que mi doctor me dejó solo para el dolor 50mg Tramadol long y yo tomo 100 mg para mejorar mi ánimo¿ Me hará daño a largo plazo? Hasta el momento llevo un año con esta rutina y me ha sentido muy bien.

Tramadol can act like that and cause serotonin syndrome when it's taken together with serotonergic drugs.

I would be concerned taking anything that released or prevented reuptake of serotonin with 750 mg tramadol dose

Interesante. No te ha subido la tolerancia en todo el año?

Si me ha subido la tolerancia, sin embargo me sigue dando motivación en mi trabajo y me hace sentir bien a demás de atenuar bastante el dolor.
