Misc What digital meter do you use when cooking?

I wanted to test the PH of y-hydroxybutyric acid and was wondering if a common digital water PH tester would suffice since this would be considered a polar solvent?

Yeah I suppose those would work but not a fan about this discussion in general (synthesis).

That is, if you consider mixing GBL with sodium hydroxide synthesis (which it is).

Yes NaGHB, what boggles me however is the fact they keep mentioning water pH tester. Is there a reason for that (meaning they would have another tester for other liquids). But i guess a meter is a meter when calculating the power of hydrogen, no matter the vessel?

Ps: why not a big fan?
