What can be doen (chemically) to prevent/limit tolerance to benzodiazepines ?

Nothing.
Your brain will always adapt to its environment (it has to), including substances affecting the central nervous system. Trying to delay the onset of tolerance to benzodiazepines with other chemicals is foolish, and quite frankly, dangerous.

Trying to offset benzodiazpine's affinity for certain receptors could result in seizures during withdrawal, and any other poly-drug use could end up causing dangerous respiratory depression.

I felt like that needed to be restated after reading someone mentioning using NMDA antagonists.
