Without potentiation what personally works for you to best improve your high? I don't ever want to add benzos to the mix so I like to find natural things that can aid. I've been experimenting for awhile (mainly oxy and h) and the following have had huge impacts on getting my moneys worth.

1. Avoiding porn/masturbation. I don't know if this is just a personal thing but I find my libido with my partner divebombs for a good week or so after any time i've jerked it. I also feel pretty weak and unmotivated during that week so I avoid it altogether now just to keep the sex life healthy. Also find that no matter what dose i get barely any euphoria. After my libido and energy's back up it's like a completely different drug, wonder what the science is behind this... anyone else experience this or am I just strange?

2. Exercise/hard work. I feel naturally pretty damn euphoric anytime I leave the gym after a heavy weight training session and for about an hour afterwards. Even a smaller then usual dose during this time is incredible. Also if i'm off work and got nothing to do, getting up and cleaning the house/accomplishing things before my dose always gives better results. I'm not too informed about the science of it all but i'd hazard a guess something to do with the reward center/dopamine and having it working well does wonders for getting euphoria from opi's. If I sit around idle blasting video games and netflix for days on end I always get less euphoria.

3. Eliminating anxiety/hypervigilance. I suffered from health anxiety for a long time and the first box of 20mg oxy's I ever scored I felt completely dysphoric and anxious, checking my pulse constantly, checking if my lips were turning blue. Obsessing over my breathing. (on only 20mg no less) Even after reassurance from BL'ers that it's pretty damn hard to OD with pharma oxy at these doses I still felt worse than before I took it. Now that i've got a bit of a tolerance and experience, I feel reassured and can just relax into it. A lot harder to be reassured with H but I've got narcan handy and keep the doses weighed out very small. I've also found going even slightly too high on the dose will feel less pleasurable than a slightly lesser dose.

4. Food timing: I guess this is personal for everyone but for me, a totally empty stomach = euphoric first hour, a high fat meal (pan fried salmon for me) after 2-3 hours = nod. Even after a few months and a fair few boxes later I still find that timing the meal right will almost always send me into nod if the dose is high enough. If I don't eat anything substantial I'm almost guaranteed to not have to fight my eyelids. Strangely even having built a tolerance to oxy, I find that even if I take it early in the morning, I will still feel an improved mood until I sleep (even 12+ hours later), not euphoric or noddy but still a mood boost.

What are your little tricks to get your moneys worth?
Do you eat the high fat meal before or after you dose?

Grapefruit juice, DXM (no more than 75 mg), black pepper and turmeric.

Before chewing up oxys/hydros I used to make my system alkaline by consuming TUMS or baking soda. Made the high last longer.

Grapefruit juice. Agreed . I think there's science to this not just opinion but couldn't explain it. . I know some meds specifically say no grapefruit juice. Not just opioid

Jesus Christ with the grapefruit juice…why don’t you look into what In grapefruit that could have sedative like effects and just buy a extract of that…wouldn’t that be the smart thing to do ?

Use the lowest dosage possible. I believe it's in the nature of Opioids for us to decide that more must be better in our "reptilian" brains. It's important to know how much is right for you. Lower dosages of Opioids tend to have stimulatory effects, not in a Central Nervous System stimulant, more likely because the slight reduction in pain tolerance combined with absence of heavy sedation is interpreted in this way. Going beyond this threshold leads to more side effects, a greater increase in tolerance and what research implies to be a higher instance of reinforcing effects of addiction.

In general, the faster a drug enters the blood stream, the stronger it is going to be experienced by the person using it. That one's easy. Food in the stomach causes the drug to be digested at a slower rate, leading to the same effect as a partially delayed/controlled release of the drug. To be clear, this delayed release is not the same function as a truly controlled-release tablet like Oxycontin/MScontin. You're likely gonna delay absorption by 25% at the most with food in your stomach.

The trajectory of Opioid abuse typically ends with a user only "getting high" immediately following injection (the rush). In the end, this is what every junkie is after, reliving those good memories of when they used to be able to get high for 30 seconds at a time.

I don't believe many of these other variables you have listed truly apply in a primary fashion to your Opioid usage. Things like sleep, exercise and all of that are likely going to make you feel better in general, though I don't believe they're going to be important for what you're after.

It's true mr Richards. I recall taking like ten mg of Oxy and feeling good for hours. Then as u go up the opiate food chain u feel better for shorter until it's gone completely. Eventually feeling just normal after big hits.
