Been listening to it so much that the CD actually stays in the car now regardless of who's been driving. One of my favourite albums I reckons, really cheers me up if I'm feeling a bit shitty and makes me feel even better if I ain't.

I agree with the overall broad thought processes, though Im not getting involved in any specifics, its both none of my business and I haven't got a clue what it's all about. But obviously it applies much more IRL than it does online. I think most members here are genuine, ie not creating false personas, they would instantly be seen through imo, but no matter how much a member decides to disclose you can't really get a more complete idea of what that person is really like until you meet them in person. You only get to know what the member chooses to disclose, so the personas are all edited to greater or lesser extents.

Then of course there's moods to take into account both IRL and online, some of which can be long lasting, but lead to character transformation when things start going better or worse, there's an upwards or downwards spiral of increased or decreased confidence, which leads to other positive or negative things. I think it can take years to really get to know a person IRL. I don't have much respect for people who say things like "I can instantly tell whether Im going to get on with a new person" which means they are making snap judgements, many of which could be totally wrong and could lead to the mental dismissal of some really great people if they happen to fail to make a fantastic first impression.

Sorry if this is fuck all to do with what you were talking about, i hope i'm 'on the same page' as you, but im definitely not sure if i am.8:)D

I will add this to the Index just this once but please consider that it is a massive pain in the arse to chase up rogue threads that have been added to even when current versions exist. I heard this on the radio about an hour ago and thought it was class. It's from 'The Sound of Siam'. It went into my ears and right down my spine. Very psychedelic, too.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't sling a lover, or ex lover, under a bus for the sake of a (in this case) well dodgy reputation anyways ... which is what I was getting at in this instance.
