the acetone one is really really easy.

the other method that is described by the brilliant chemist later in the thread also works very well, but is more difficult for the beginner. I'd just stick with the acetone method. careful of the amounts you use, and chill as slowly as possible.

Acetone probably won't remove the aziridines, CMP?(overreduced meth), or unreacted (pseudo)ephedrine that ruins meth. An recrystallization might clean it up, but the only sure way is fractional distillation of the freebase, though that's beyond the reach of most people and not worth it for less than 2 grams.

It could be some RC that sucks, might not even be meth.Also there is a bullshit recipe from bug spray that does not make meth, but is probably active.Or if it is meth it might be so cut/impure that you basically have to be a chemist to clean it.

Just get rid of it and find a better source.
