vyvanse/elavil combo?

I was having trouble going to sleep so i took 100mg of vyvanse. I have high tolerance. I took the vy about an hour ago. I regret that decision, as I would like to do to bed. I have elavil and hydroxzine. Would taking one of those ease me to sleep, or is it a bad combo?

Any advice is appreciated!!!

Hydroxyzine is fine. Elavil probably too but slight risk of interaction with Vyvanse. As long as its a small dose, Elavil should be ok, but I personally think hydroxyzine is better anyway.

Mixing Amphetamines with certain TCA's like Elavil can raise the risk of having heart problems and lower the seizure threshold but i do know people who are prescribed both. As long as you stick to a low dose of Elavil (25mg's should be enough for sleep) you should be fine. Hydroxyzine is a okay sleep aid but i find Amitriptyline to work much better.
