I hate to say but in the thread I linked to the authors of the study did seem biased. Some of the text made no scientific sense to me. The limited endorphin enhancing effect of vitamin c couldn't take away the pain of a high dose habit. I have trouble believing it works for even low dose habits. They seem to claim that it antagonized exogenous opoids but still aids withdrawal which I have trouble believing.
