video game: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PC/PS3/Xbox 360)

All RPGs kinda look like WOW to me. make your own elve,human,whatever. I played the last Elder Scrolls not this one yet. Although my EGM subscription gave it a 9.5. Go for it.

personally i hated it. I didnt like the whole 1st person POV aspect of the game so i deleted it. Waste of 10gb bandwith and 3 nights downloading woops i mean driving to the shops and buying it

That is good-looking indeed.

But I the very fact that it is just-another-soldier-fps makes me want to vomit...

There are wayyyyyyyy too many army games out there, and they all suck because of the subject matter.

You gota have a monster pc rig to play crysis. Wich sucks cuz that means i gota upgrade my Dual core 5200 1950 radeon pro. if i want the sweetest graphics.

I wish, but they've said consistently that the 360 can't handle it. Although that remains speculation. It's currently scheduled for PC only.

huge fan of the entire elder scrolls series. i always thought morrowind was one of THE best rpgs ever made. Oblivion is challenging for the title, only thing holding me back is that its basically same thing as morrowind with additional functionality and a really fucking slick graphics engine.

I just started up Oblivion about a week ago (finally got around to buying a 360) and i think it's pretty good, but not as good as the previous Elder Scrolls games, it's the smallest out of the series, but i am having a lot of fun with it.

Never played the previous ES but really like Oblivion. Looks beautiful with HDR. Shivering Isles is a trip too. A+++ for Oblivion and SI

I just picked up oblivion last night and i've been having a blast. i played morrowind and i wasn't a huge fan, but oblivion is just.. amazing. if anyone doesn't know what it is, it's a role playing game where you can do what you want in the world, there are like 20 classes or you can create your own, and you can be evil or good or whatever in between. there is a main quest you can follow but i have heard there is hundreds of hours of sidequests and guilds that you can join ect to entertain you. its like a living breathing world. i'm a nightblade. anyone else enjoying this game right now? i bought it yesterday, and i had the day off today.. i played like 8 hours today lol. it really sucks you in. i got it for the PC since i just bought a really nice new PC off of craigslist. anyways....

you can't treat it like an MMO. you are the main character you are not one of many. i love MMO's and i've played them for years, but this game is much different because the focus is on you. you can't treat it like a level grind or a race to the top like MMO's, you need to take in the scenery, consider your actions, ect. i love it

I've played a lot of Oblivion. I don't know how much I've spent getting the thing up and running well though.

Shivering Isles (expansion pack) is cool. Real trippy atmosphere.

yeah I've been playing the Shivering Isles expansion..crazy atmosphere...some of the creatures there are pretty gruesome like skinned hounds and flesh atronachs
