Valtrex/Shingles + rolling

Hi guys,

I looked in the search bar but wasn't able to find anything too helpful. I got diagnosed with shingles earlier this week and was prescribed valtrex. I was planning on rolling in a couple days, and the rash is starting to clear up but I still have a bit of nerve pain.

Has anyone here rolled while on shingles or valtrex? How did that go?

There are two possible issues. The first is simply that MDMA is hard on your system and will temporarily suppress your immune system. If you roll before you have fully recovered, it may delay recovery or cause a relapse.

The other possible issue is a more subtle and theoretical one: Valtrex can cause problems for your kidneys if your urine becomes unusually concentrated. Since MDMA temporarily reduces urine production, it could in effect cause your kidneys to be overdosed on Valtrex, which could harm them.

I would recommend waiting until some time after treatment is finished.
