Use of Dopamine promoter- Requip

I have a few pills left of an old prescription of the antiparkinson drug requip, that was prescribed to me awhile ago to help with restless leg syndrome.

I've looked it up and apparently it is a dopamine promoter. Is this something that can safely be used to help restore depleted dopamine levels after using amphetimines?

Anyone have any clue?

Hey there deemgd. Ropinirole isn't likely to speed up recovery after heavy amp use, it may actually slow it a little. But it will activate ('agonise') various dopamine receptors and lessen the symptoms you may be experiencing (so making you feel a little better).

So it could be a bit of a trade-off (recovery time vs awful symptoms). Unless you feel truly awful, I'd not recommend taking it, though taking it won't harm you assuming you're using the originally prescribed doses.

Seconded.
