Stimulants Unusual mephedrone colour and much stronger smell

I’m just curious if anyone has ever come across a green-ish mephedrone/mcat/4-mmc color, and a much stronger smell than is typical for it?

I’ve only ever seen it in a white or yellow color whether powder or crystals. I’ve also never had to store it in a freezer bag inside a pickle jar just to keep it from stinking up my entire room.

It does smell like mephedrone but I’m wondering if a green color and a stronger smell says something about how a drug was synthesized?

Asking for a friend in the interest of harm reduction, dosage etc.

Nope, never have. Sounds like it is probably impure, perhaps unreacted precursor or leftover solvent.
