I am trying to work out how to embed a video in my post.

I did a search but it did not help me.

The problem is I am totally blind and use a screen reader to navigate the net.

I was told to click on the tape and reel icon and insert the url.

Problem is I cannot find this icon.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can use BBcode of {VIDEO}VALUE{/VIDEO} Instead of { } replace with [ ] and value is the copied url of the video.

the tape and reel icon can be found when you click on Go Advanced (located between Post Quick Reply and Cancel) and then it should be in the middle row on the right.

video embeds are enabled in some forums and not in others. in which forum are you trying to embed a video?

Kittycat5, I am not skilled enough on my pc to be able to use your suggestion.

JahSEEuS, you should hear the way my screen reader pronounces your name man.

Anyway I have thoroughly tried your suggestion and I still cannot find that tape and reel icon.

I am going to have to get someone with eyes to look at the screen.

alasdairm, I am trying to post in the non electronic music forum.

Again thanks for the replies, sometimes the screen reader just won't pick up everything on the screen, it's only a freen one so it's not perfect.

I will get someone to have a look with me.
