Descreasing a doctor's power and increasing a pharmacist's power (as well as rescheduling A LOT of drugs) would sure be a start, if not the end game in itself.
Many years ago i'm talkin about 50 pharmacist did have more power than doctors.
A doctor would ask the pharmacist for advice on what chemical would be best used to treat an individuals condition.
I know this to be true as one of my old Phamacists was a friend of the family and he would tell me all about how things were in 1950s and how things have changed & not always for the best
