Opioids Trying fentanyl

I got my hands on 3 12.5mcg patches. I have surgery tommorrow. Should I try one of the patches, as percocet 5's don't really help me post op, usually need 10mg every 4-6 hours for relief. Would the fentanyl patch be worth trying or would it get my tolerance way too up? Thanks guys.

If you can feel 10mg of percocet, fentanyl will destroy you. It would be like saying you can drive 20mph in a Prius, so you want to pilot a rocket to the moon.

Right now im on 40mg oxycodone a day usually. Post op more like 80mg a day though.

Are you sure? I though 12.5mcg fentanyl an hour wasn't much, correct me if im wrong.
