fwiw i often had sexual dreams after taking it for sleep. no erections tho

well, im wondering whats the mechanism behind trazadone's priapism action. it was viagra before viagra cannot believe nobody exploited it back then. definatelly i can say as i did them both, viagra is kind of weak in comparison wow.
but viagra does help with the brain too as there are some studies as promising alzheimers threatment. it has some nootropic effect, for whatever reason unknown....

Follow the link I posted it explains why not cold. My initial thought was an ice pack to bring the swelling down but that's apparently not the way to go. Needs to be warm to get the blood flowing because the blood is trapped there.

i wonder, does prolonged regular priapism cause damage to the penis??? :S

today it hurt so much to get an erection after this ordeal, that i kept avoiding looking at women all of them at all cost!! fuck when i was shopping today at few stores because of my delivery job i usually always look at women and get excited. BUT today , i kept looking at old people, kids and repulsive people, and i kept it down phew!! damn! i dunno if i can continue this shit tho man, i probably wont take trazadone no more.

What are you talking bout? Priaprism is a huge factor in trazodone, the OP here now contains a warning about it, and your discussion related to it will now be part of a general discussion on trazodone that will have a larger visibility for a long time to come, as opposed to being a one off little thread that falls off into the oblivion of thread pages after a short period of time.

Bottom line is that if your priapism is bad enough you need to go to the hospital.

Go to a doctor, an 8 hour priapism can cause permanent penile tissue damage.

It brought me very interesting dreams and hypnagogic hallucinations, felt like melting into the mattress, turning around 180 degrees and flying out of the window in flying carpet style, lol. Or seeing and talking to a dead person/zombie next to my bed. Didn't help much with sleep nor depression but were also just 100 or 150mg. Got them as a sleep aid.

Priapism must be horrible.
 
Had to use this in psychiatry.Sleep was deep&quick coming,but in the morning my mouth was dried and felt unwell.Atypical antidepressant.Antagonist of some serotonine receptors....never felt some AD effects,but is effective sleeping aid(if you/I had no other options.Never led me to priapism too.

whats the science behind this? like, how does it cause PERMANENT damage? sure it must be causing damage, but permanent?? and what are the consequences of that, smaller dick over time!?!
 
Um, I would not say it is anything like MDMA at all.

It is real great for WD'S I give it 4 out 5 starts on that for sure. For sleep I would def. recommend it on a 5 out 5 basis.

edit-waking up with the lol problem sometimes does suck unless you have a very good girlfriend!

No your dick won't shrink, but you can end up with permanent erectile dysfunction. If the blood is trapped in your dick for so long, it becomes deprived of oxygen. This lack of oxygen will cause damage to penile tissues. Any erection that goes on for more than four hours IS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY and you must go to the hospital where they will give you an injection to reverse the effect and bring it down.
