Hello,
I am prescribed Valium 40mg/daily for seizures/panic disorder and 15mg Serax for morning anxiety/early awakenings.
Serax really is just a somewhat bad benzo; short half life, takes an HOUR at least to kick in (as opposed to 15mins after diazepam) and is truly subtle in effect. Even high doses don't produce much unless taken in true excess.

My psychiatrist doesn't want to use a high powered benzo due to the Valium, but Tranxene is pretty weak yeah? If anyone knows how long it takes to kick in and if it's better than Serax I'd love to know.

Thanks

I like Serax for sleep. You don't do a lot for sleep anyway and the short half life means less of a hangover.
