source? Actually science says that your brain develops at about the same rate until around age 35, if development even stops at all. A 15 year old's rate of brain maturation is at least comparable to a 30 year old's, so maturation shouldn't be much of a factor. I'm not saying there's no risk at all, but I haven't personally experienced any, and I used to trip with a lot of other people near my age back then. None of them have reported negative effects either which is why I'm a bit doubtful. I'd be more wary of psychological effects than physical effects on brain development.

I think it has a lot more to do with mental state than the brain it's self. Teenagers tend to have a lot more of a chaotic and unsure mindset, still forming their opinions on the world ect.
