I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it. He's proven to be arguably one of the best actors of all time, certainly of this generation.

Oscars, Grammys, Emmys --- they don't mean shit. He's a great actor regardless of accolades.

He hasn't gotten one for this long, fuck it. Keep it going.

I haven't seen Hugo, nor do I have any recollection of it, but imo I think his performance in Shutter Island was better than Titanic.
Titantic came out when I was in High School, suffice to say I couldn't watch any of his films for a long time after Titanicmania, still can't stand it and the theme song could be used for torture in my case.

the cinematography was incredible. the movie didn't seem long and i thought that decaprio's performance was powerful and understated.

what more did you want in terms of plot? x-wing fight? bank heist?

I myself enjoyed every minute of Birdman. The Revenant was a masterpiece Leo's role in the film is always one I've wanted to see him play, I can't wait to watch it on BluRay to experience and see things I didn't during my first viewing of the film.

It was the filming that made the movie if you ask me. also the main guy was good too, so were all of the actors for that fact.

The filming and actors were all top notch. But there is one thing that really bothers me. For somebody who is supposed to be starving, the DiCaprio character looked chubby the whole time with his meaty face. Actors for other films gain and lose weight for their roles, so why didnùt he?

He looked pretty warm at the end of Titanic, too, now that you mention it . . .
