Fuck Dicaprio. Fuck him on his grave. May he only get cancer. %)%)=D=D j/k, but not really. Revenant was really good though.

^ you only made 4 predictions - did you mean to omit the other categories?

I haven't seen the majority of the movies for actor, actress to really make an informed decision. The performances I have seen were okay, but were they Oscar worthy? I'm not so sure. I mean Stallone for Creed? Really? Damon was okay, and The Martian was an okay movie...but it wasn't mindblowing. Even Spotlight was more for the fact that they made a decent movie about a terrible subject, an important topic sure...but I don't think the performances were spectacular.

Even Rylance was sort of distilled into a single quote in Bridge of Spies "Would it help?" He played a likeable character, but I'm not sure his performance was up to par with Wolf Hall.

If I had a vote..

As I haven't see all the films yet I'll just say a few words and make a few predictions.

The big short was probably the most important film of the decade. We've been scratching ourselves to sleep at night for a film like this. However, I don't believe it was the best film, not only of the decade but of this year. The Revenant Was extraordinary. I don' see it not winning Best Pic or Leo not winning Best Actor. Also, Bale will likely win best supporting actor.

^ i love christian bale and a lot of his roles but i don't think the big short was an oscar-winning performance from him.

I'm hoping for DiCaprio for best Actor in a Leading Role. He's done so many different and challenging performances.

Those are my picks, posting under the gun.

Personally I think best picture was The Big Short. Fury Road was also awesome. Seen it multiple times now and it gets better with every viewing. I think Leo should win best actor, but I think Redmayne will pull off a best actor double taking last year and this year.
