dallas buyers club and blue jasmine were great. gravity looked great but was a bit lacking. Have yet to see American Hustle.

I think Gravity totally deserves to be nominated for things relating to special effects, sound, cinematography. It looked amazing in the theater. I just didn't think the plot was that interesting, unique, or special. There wasn't much dialogue and the characters could have easily been played by less famous people. Obviously this is just my opinion, but it seemed like many other space movies, but with really fantastic special effects. This was the first time I've ever been impressed with seeing a movie in 3D, except for those dope 3D movies that have in Disney World, but those are more like 20 minute shorts.

I just don't understand the big deal surrounding the movie. I never would have thought it would be nominated for best picture.

I didn't know anything about the movie she was in. Probably should have looked up all the movies a little more before the predictions. She won for the Woody Allen film right? Blue Jasmine.
