The end of Australian Bluelight?

So does anyone know how we can complain about it in a way that will be taken seriously? Admittedly I have been really slack about this and had my head in the sand hoping it would all go away, but plaz is right....the only way to stop it from happening is to try and stop it from happening rather than just sitting around bitching about it... :\

EDIT: Oh wait, never mind....I just saw the no clean feed link on the aus social page.....carry on, nothing to see here... :)
 
I think it's a good thing. Clearly the best way to deal with pedophiles is to deny them access to material they can be tracked down for accessing so they're forced to start abducting neighborhood children and making their own pornography.
 
Any determined user - including children - could bypass the filter quickly using an anonymizer service, open proxy, or VPN connection

Just route your internet traffic through an anonymous proxy server.

I personally believe that this is the cause of many problems in society at the moment, careless parenting (or just general lack of interest and/or don't you say that to my little boy or I will burn your house down type of parentying) has lead to many little cunts running around with no respect for society and people as individuals or the worth of human life..........

There are too many parents that don't give a crap, so therefore they raise kids that don't give a crap. It's a vicious cycle that's very common these days.
 
This pisses me off to no end. Especially since it isn't even in the mainstream media.

The best thing I can think of is telling people who would otherwise not know about it. I've told my mum to spread the word and have talks about it with my workmates.
Even if it is implemented, I really don't think it will last long because the public revolt will be too strong once everyone cottons on to how fucking WRONG it is.

Is it just me or is there more to it than a minority of stupid parents ruining it for the rest of the country by not placing the computer their children use in the living room or kitchen?

I have got to be living in the most conservative fucking country in the Western world. I remember once reading about the prohibition of Kratom - the list of countries to have banned it was like "Uganda, Ghana, Micronesia, Bangladesh, China, Australia...."
 
This is unacceptable.. I really hope they don't go through with this.. Is there a petition we can sign to help voice the opinions of bluelighters so they don't shut us down?
