Social That Opioid-Withdrawal Horny

Not the specifics, but it's the same with almost all withdrawal symptom. It would be pretty detrimental to be that horny all the time, so your body suppresses this libido with natural hormones/neurotransmitters. When you take opiates every say, your "stop being so fucking horny" systems get lazy, so when the opiate is removed, you go into overdrive.

Similar to how people have seizures in benzo/alcohol withdrawal.

Two tugs and I'm done don't even bother the wife it's humiliating when the urges come back it is like what I used to be like when young and on a roid cycle

Same with me on heroin used to have sex with wife out of duty 40 50 mins easily used to get tired . Then started using a condom and would pretend I have cum after she had do the action wiggle a bit .

Yesssss. Several years back I went off methadone (60mg/day) cold turkey and ended up masturbating sometimes like 3 or 4 times in a couple hours.

This is exactly what has happened to marriage. I was so opiated and asexual that we like never fucked...and then when I did get urges I would just "handle" it myself in the bathroom like a bodily function that had to be releieved...with my wife right there willing to fuck if I asked.

Porn addiction is also a factor I've become more preferential to porn because he can be over so quick. I would literally rather jack to a porn for 2 minutes than fuck the porn star in the movie and deal with having to interact with another person. I'm very antisocial in general too (hate clubs bars, barely stay in contact with family etc.)...so I wonder if that's why I prefer a computer.

Whatever the reason there is alot of guilt like I feel like something is wrong with me or my partner.

You got into a habit my brother dont get me wrong sometimes a wank to porn is better than sex with a person. But even when on the gear when i rather nod to some music i would have sex with wife it such an important part of marriage. You will know when your partner is feeling like it . How old are you my brother the only way to improve is to get out of your comfort zone. This is not only you it happening a lot around the world men and women are happy doing it themselves and get in that comfortable spot with porn you don't have to consider your partners' feelings dont have to do all the things that take work. A man or woman can be content with masturbation for their sexual needs but what about being lonley the emotional part a partner plays. You have to get out of the comfortable stage and do things we all do . I wont have sex with wife when the urges come back during wd i will cum to early

I started heavy on opioids in my mid to late twenties....and even while on a shit load of fent I still had a strong sex drive and lots of sex with my then gf who was a sex fiend.

But those were my first two years of opioids....i guess age combined with time on opioids (12ish years) combined with my less dominant current partner equaled out to very little sex.

I'm 40. You basically nailed it. I don't know how to change other than force myself to have real sex even though I'd rather not.

It is time i would during first year cheak out women have sex with wife but 13 years later as soon i knew wife felt like it i was like fuck sake do i have to in my head 17 year 13 straight 4 on and of

I'm 40. You basically nailed it. I don't know how to change other than force myself to have real sex even though I'd rather not.

When you last detox my brother my test levels always low when i do a long stint on heroin i use test gel or roid cycle to get back to normal levels
 
I guess it's the testosterone coming back, opiates strongly suppress its production (less so kratom/bupe as partial agonists) and levels will be low (as high for prolactin) for quite a while into sobriety but there might be a rebound causing horniness.

I dont think it's testosterone because you will literally get horny as soon as you start getting sick so testosterone hasn't had time to increase yet on day 1 or 2.

If I had to guess I'd say it involves dopamine or a craving thereof which the drug usually gives. I also get super hungry during withdrawal where no matter how much I eat, instill need more.

I think both the hunger and sex are tied to a fiend for dopamine which usually regulates both these functions and suddenly your body is screaming for satisfaction of any sort (drug, food, or sex).

I would say testosterone plays a role in the diminished sex drive over time in opioid addicts.

That's my guess

Oh yeah, I got the hunger too when 2-3 days off methadone I got hungry as hell and ate two meals at once..

Guess you're right about testosterone, it is something which takes ages to regenerate but it can hardly be dopamine because withdrawal will lead to a dopamine drought instead, dopamine agonists even alleviate opioid withdrawal if you tolerate enough of them (I didn't)
