That "cough" from a shot of .25 Meth

I don't do meth anymore, it's been about 2 years since I last did it and when I was last using it I wa injecting .25 of a gram each shot, most amazing rush ever I was just thinking about one of the pleasant effects about a few seconds after the shot it would cause a tickle in the throat and I'd cough. Just curious if anyone knows why that happens? Always wondered why and never thought about asking about it until now.

I wonder the same, the longer you do it, you don't get that amazing "cough" anymore

It has to be the right amount in the shot to get that perfect rush "cough" I found it was .25 of a gram, I would weigh it on a digital scale
