Testing LSD

Does anyone know if I can test for LSD

My pill testing kit says LSD will only be detected with large pill scrapings (blotters will not work)

I'm Curious as to why a blotter apparently cant be tested?

Blotters can be tested. search for "Ehrlich's Reagent".
