I think the reason people are so biased against meth is because it is just so bad for you. Heroin is actually not harmful to the body at all. The only real downside to heroin is the addiction (and thats a pretty big downside). However, if you can afford it for the rest of your life and you practice safe drug use, you can live your life with basically no detrimental effects from it. Now, try IVing meth for a few years and see what happens to your physical and mental state.
 
I've never done meth, never will, but I do enjoy a casual dextroamphetamine day/night every once in a while, and I gotta say, I've never done them more than 1 day at a time, and I had a great time while I was tweaking. I would assume meth would just be a more intense feeling of amphetamines. A more intense feeling of that "waves of energy/electrical feeling flowing through my body" sensation, I would assume.

What I don't get is the meth issue in rural white-trash hick towns - what is there to do there? I can see bikers, truckers doing it there to stay up all night while driving but seriously, what is there to do in a trailer park? I guess it does put you at an advantage with drunks, but what else?

I have a bachelors degree in pharmacology. Yes and adderall is just one carbon away from being methamphetamine, aside from the salt formulation its in. And ritalin is a dopa/norepi reuptake inhibitor, which is cocaine's main mechanism of action. So most of the kids who have been scripted this stuff since they were five for ADD/ADHD now kinda have a taste for the whole stimulant effect. Not to say that this is the main reason why so many people do meth, but i can definitely see it contributing.

Let me also add that my whole opinion/speculation could be total bollocks since ive never intentional done meth (although its a common cutting agent of many things ive done) so i dont have total first hand experience, only booksmarts.

Yeah, well i doubt people cut your drugs with methamphetamines. I have never heard of that.

Well in the U.S. where the majority of meth is produced, it is often, although not always, used as a cheaper alternative to cut with things like coke or E. But what would i know though, Im just a dumbass.8)
 
^^^^^^^^ I don't even wanna get into this but... Why don't they just use cheaper amphetamines? I really don't think people cut coke with meth. Especially since the cuts are also used to make the user feel like shit after the cola wears off.
 
^^^Well in some cases yes, but in some parts of the country where meth is produced in abundance it is used as a cut because it is cheaper than coke.
 
I'm not even reading this thread or following whats going on, I'm just gonna respond to the title of the thread.


Meth, snorted or smoked, in my experience, feels like "OK LETS FUCKIN ROCK TIME TO DO SHIT WHAT NEEDS DONE TONS NEEDS DONE LETS DO SHIT" then I proceed to do shit. Generally, if I do it alone or at home, I clean a lot and organize a lot. I can't sit still or I get over anxious and start worrying about my heart rate etc . I do get a euphoria (in a way, its not great but I do feel invincible) but the most pronounced feeling is the LETS DO SOMETHING. Socially, its miserable for me unless I'm playing basketball or football or something. I'll leave my friends and go do stuff (again, usually anything that requires movement).

I've only slammed twice, and both times it took me a second or two to get over the euphoria (this was strrronnggg) and I was in the same pattern, SHIT NEEDS TO GET DONE.
I know this sounds stereotypical, but stereotypes sometimes are valid because they are true......

1st of all, i am from America too. I aint no COMMIE!!!

2. Methamphetamines are not used OFTEN to cut coke. In fact it is very rare. Amphetamines and other stimulants such as ephedrine or the over-the-counter drug known as NoDoze is often used to cut coke. Maybe you are confusing those stimulants with meth. Tell me...if they wanted to use a cheaper alternative to cut their coke. Then why would they use a drug like meth that costs a lot more and is harder to obtain(anywhere you live) than a huge bottle of NoDoze that you can get from the gas station. It just doesnt add up. If a low level dealer tells you this coke was cut with meth then he is prolly lying so that he can overcharge you. It may happen, but VERY RARELY.

3rd. Methamphetamines are not often used to cut E. Most, if not all of the E that you get in America comes from overseas, where meth isnt widespread and cheap. Meth isnt the reason why your pills are "speedy". Thats a whole other boat i am not even going to touch. It would be very rare that you would ever get a pill with Meth in it. I havent been to pillreports.com in a while, but i dont remember seeing many if any pills that had meth in them.

4. Looks like you dont know much, and you are just a dumbass. You said it not me...

You will find that a lot of your percieved "truths" about many drugs have been overblown. Its part of the propaganda machine. Part of our goal is to provide facts instead of stereotypes. This does not mean that all drugs are necessarily safe.

And lurkerguy is correct in his comparison of adderall to meth (if not his chemistry). These drugs are very similar, with similar risk profiles.

it's a stimulant that effects the central nervous system, as with ANY drug it effects everyone differently. That being said, when you first experience it and it's GOOD quality product!! "to quote Rick James on another stimulant IT"S A HELL OF A DRUG. Like I just said it depends on quality, if you can acquire some clear shards MMMMMMMMMM get ready for a hell of a ride!!

1. initially it's euphoric but depends on how you consume? (I smoke it) but I have snorted also, with snorting it's not as intense as smoking I have never slammed it so I won't comment on that. You will feel talkative and enjoy conversation with everyone. when I first tried it I scored some KIND shards and that shit had my hair feeling like it was standing up, my old lady felt the same also. BUT BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the KIND shards are EXTREMELY ADDICTING it lasts a long time, however you feel so good at first you don't want to lose that feeling!.

2. SEX OMG if you like porn and nasty perverted sex then you will instantly become ADDICTED to this drug SO BEWARE!! meth and porn go together like booze and cigs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's why SO MANY people are hooked! 8 out of 10 people are pervs and this is the drug of choice that's why at every headshop that sells bubbles they sell smut also. You will get the described feeling when first using it but it changes quickly! and can EASILY be up for three days having sex/watching porn and pretty much TWEAKING your ass off.
also if you score LOW quality product you WILL NOT feel the euphoria just a speedy caffeine shitty high that you can't sleep or do really anything on but do more and more with no real enjoyment.

3. THE MOST dangerous aspect of this drug is the law enforcement part of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! THERE HAS BEEN NO DRUG IN RECENT HISTORY THAT LAW ENFORCEMENT WANT TO BUST PEOPLE FOR THAN THIS SHIT!!!!! so if your just curious about it? STAY AWAY FROM IT because if you try it you will like it and it's not worth getting into the speed scene for the simple fact that NOONE can be trusted and the cops will do ANYTHING to catch any and all involved in the scene.

Hope that shed a LITTLE light on the subject.
 
^^ are you serious? people that smoke meth watch alot of porn? thats......... weird as hell. so is the movie Spun pretty accurate when it comes to the tweaker and cooker stereotypes? that movie is my only frame of reference when it comes to this stuff.


I think its interesting how this shit is so popular all across the country but I've never seen it in maryland once, and I've seen damn near everything. I guess it just hasn't hit the east coast yet, or maybe its just not popular in the northeast. when people say "meth" out here, they're talkin about methadone.

I propose an addict exchange program. we trade all our heroin addicts that want to get clean for all your meth addicts that want to get clean. it would work perfectly!

Question:

Ive never come across d-amphetamine (only the partially racemic mixture in Adderall), is this drug more similar to the effects of meth?

The reason being that I do not enjoy Adderall at all due to the side effects, and I blame the 25% l-isomer. Does having only the dextrorotary isomer present as in Dexedrine make a big difference?
 
ok, ill admit it sex / Porn are the ultimate rush for hours at a time on this drug! But dont sex & porn kick ass anyway without drugs??:D When you fuck on this drug its the ultimate. Strong adderal has kinda similar sexual effects, but nothing like meth. I made my girlfriend cum 3 times on the shit.....:D But it is definitely a life ruiner. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

yes & spun is definitely a piece of trash, inaccurate movie. Didnt they snort meth most of the movie?? Most heavy users dont snort meth that often.
