I believe that naloxone will also send u into withdrawal if u believe it's still in ur system.

worst idea EVER! naloxone will only put you into withdrawal ASAP and make you sick as a dog; you are better off just going into withdrawal than doing any naloxone. everybody is different and you may not need 24-48hrs between your last shot of dope and your first suboxone. I only need about 6-8 hours between switching, so its surly different for all but "they" must play it safe and say 24-48hrs.
 
I've been taking 100mcg of fentanyl and using the patches buccally for two years now. I thought I was in withdrawl so I started with 3 mgs of suboxone . It put me immediate PW. I fixed the problem by doing two bags of heroin. I last snorted a line at eight o'clock last night and it's now nine am and I'm feeling fine. I have more subs and h I case this starts all over again but for now I feel absolutely fine. Can anyone answer what may be happinging? Will I go through withdrawl again from using the h or since subs have a very long half life, is it keeping me well at the moment? Please help!

OK, so i know this most likely has been talked about before somewhere in these threads but i dont have the time to read through it all.... so heres my story. Im a IV H user for the past 4 months. wanting to get off. I went to my doc for a suboxone intake. I waited the full 24 hours and started with 4mg. waited 1/2 hour and took another 4 mg. waited hour took another 4mg. he told me to go walk around, go smoke a cig maybe get some food and come back. my withdrawals had been reduced to just some slight RLS, painful still joints, watery eyes and still had cravings at about a 5 out of 10. Doc said he wanted the cravings at a 3 so he said to take the other 4mg. making it a total of 16mg of sub. i went home, felt ok. still some slight w.d. then cravings took in fully. i took 2 mg kpin. knocked me out for about 2 hours. woke up feeling much more cravings and withdrawal sysmptoms. i went to score some H. slammed about a G and felt great, no euphoria but not WD. went to bed, woke and and took about .5 g of H IV. talked to my doc and told him everything. I still want to be off the dope and I told him that, Ive been very honest with my doc. He said its still fine to take the suboxone even though ive taken the H. Is this true or if i take 2mg of sub will it put my into PW? He says it wont but i worry.... any advice will help, please and thank you
 
its funny how it works but if you were already on suboxone, which seems you were, and slammed the dope, then you can go ahead and retake your suboxone ASAP. if you are a dope fiend and just about to take your first dose of suboxone, then you better be fucking careful cuz you could be sick as a dog.

you'd be all set, tho. you slammed a G of that dope; so the suboxone was blocking it as is because I am sure a G is not your typical shot; then again, maybe it is, who knows.
 
you want to get yourself off pills everyday, but yet still take pills here and there, right? well, bad news.. that will never happen! seriously, I am just speaking the truth here; its not going to happen. its all IN or OUT, there is no inbetween.

on another note, how many people feel BETTER on a lower dosage of bupe? I am still on 12MG but thinking of making my switch to 8MG soon; I dont see a problem dropping 4MG but I just want to know if its even worth it. the last time I used these and actually stayed clean I went down far too quick and was on 4MG before sticking a needle in the arm again.
 
well, you go to the Dr. and get scripted is #1.

#2 is you wait your 24-48hrs till you feel a bit of a withdrawal before taking your first suboxone.

you may not even have to wait that long but that is just for safety purposes; you do not want to go into participated withdrawals.

its very easy, man.
 
what job do you have where you would be unable to take suboone? suboxone does not come up as an opiate on your 5 panel drug test. then again, youre taking opiates, so I assume there are no panel tests and you are working in a hospital or some type of program? either way, all your medical records are private but you know more than I would about your life, so best of luck, man.
 
Saw the dentist today because I had one large piece of the bottom of a canine tooth seemingly gone away. Suboxone as it is formulated in Canada, white pills with lemon and lime natural and artificial extract is a horrible idea. I already had anecdotal evidence that some people in the waiting room had their dentist blame those extracts on suboxone and the fact it is a sublingual med on front teeth decay if used for long-term maintenance. A girl who had only 1 cavity in her whole life told me she had 16 cavities after using Suboxone for a year, another 13 after 2 years.

Well, after almost 3 years, me who always was told I had very perfect very solid teeth who only had very few cavities in their lives (I had 2 tiny cavities filled and saw a dentist at least every 2 years after I got off my mom's insurance), well today I got told that yeah, what I discovered was urgent, it didn't hurt yet but it was going to. Thankfully, gov insurance covers white fillings in the front, but I have 21 other cavities now all in the inside of my mouth, unlike the 3 I discovered from my lower left canine and the 2 to the center of it at the base which were in front. It's time Health Canada approves ZubSolv or Bunavail and fast. Also, I noticed a huge shift since I sought ORT treatment in fall of 2012, I was pretty much pushed to take methadone, they were saying 80% of their patients were using methadone, then when methadone proved dangerous to my health, they changed me to Suboxone but pretty late in the process. Now that I have the hormones and everything needed to balance methadone's actions out, they won't put me on methadone again.

Well next appointment I will tell them that, hey, if there was something perfect on my body it was my teeth and Suboxone is destroying them. I have no idea if Zubsolv or Bunavail are even studied by Health Canada but something's got to be done and have the policies of ORT clinics revert back to using it for 3 month detox only, which I should have really picked back then, but I wanted pain relief...sigh.

Question: If I took 2mg of Suboxone and have never taken it before how long must I wait to take loritab or Percocet and get the effects off it!
 
You'd have to wait a little bit more than 24 hours. That info is easily obtained by reading basic info about suboxone...
 
Should I increase Suboxone dose

Hi I was prescribed suboxone about 3 years ago to get off off heroin. I am on a dose of 12 mg per day, specifically 4mg 3x a day. It's been extremely helpful, I relapsed once last year on the junk for about a week luckily I had subs to fall back on with no further use off heroin. Lately I've been craving heroin. I never really felt a rush from the subs but there was more euphoria in the first year. Other than the opiate blocker or antagonist I don't see the point in being on them if they're not fulfilling your need to feel some sort of opiate effect. Other than avoiding withdrawals. I heard of the ceiling effect, is that anywhere above 4mg? If so then why do doctors increase patients dosage. My mom for example is prescribed three 8 mg strips a day or 24mg. I have more available if I want to increase my dose but is increasing essentially to fill a psychological fix or do your receptors fill up more depending on how much you take? So basically my question is - can I take more to feel an opiate high or would it just be a waste?
 
All of the negative side effects overwhelm any positive effects when you dose too much (bupe)' at once
let alone three times daily
The 'honeymoon' phase is short and sweet (sort of)
 
When you say negative side effects, you're referring to constipation, bad taste, drowsiness? Or are you talking about the antagonist or whatever blocking the euphoric effects?

Ceiling is supposedly around 24mg, it's the max dose used here. I know some US docs go as far as 32, but it's useless. It's basically useless to go farther than 12mg imo, merkins have 12mg strips....I wonder, are strips full of lemon and lime natural and artificial extracts? The canadian Suboxone pills have wrecked my teeth, especially the front ones, in the inside, side, one would say anterior I guess. My dentist said it was definitely Suboxone and it's not the first time he encounters people who barely ever had cavities (I had 3 in my whole life, really perfectly aligned teeth, even my wisdom teeth came out perfectly and I still got em. I'm gonna be seeing the dentist often until christmas, 21 cavities ffs..he fixed the worst ones earlier this week, so from 24 to 21. At least I'm covered for white non-amalgalm fillings. In the meantime I have to use a toothpaste that could kill a child as much as if one found and used my suboxone, was told to hide it away (Provident 5000, as for 5000 ppm of fluoride, a tiny quantiy is required and thankfully it was scripted, so I didn't pay taxes.

My jaw issue though re-surfaced over the painkilling effects of suboxone the next day when I woke up, it was horrendous. I'm telling him, you better script me something for the pain which lasted 3 days in my left jaw which you know an ex-colleague of yours (the retired maxiliofacial dentist who retired on me when he was having me on a chronic pain codeine and oxycodone regiment, which led to black market etc.). He said if it was bad enough, he'd script me Percodans, heh. I'd have to ask permission of my ORT clinic to fill it, but they did so for OXY 20's when I had one hell of a painful skin infection (pilonidal cyst i had for 16 years exploded in a sea of blood and pus and the doc who came to my home, yeah we got that service in my town, only town in North America where there's a fleet of 12 doctors in cars 7 to 6pm that you can call so they can get to your home, it's great, just have to constantly redial to get in though, I got lucky.) Percodans...i'd have to stop bupe for 2-3 days and eat 4 of them (they stop at 5mg oxy here, same with percocet, but dentists here either use percodan or dilaudid, and NSAIDs only pretty much, except for jaw specialist dentists like I had).
 
hi I new to bluelight but I just started suboxone and doc has me on 8mg 3 x a day and I'm 4 days in. I still feel like shit.. Needless to say I was on methadone for 5 years before this and I was trying to detox down and they were giving me a problem I think it was a money thing. Everything was fine the whole time I was there not asking for a decrease. Anyway I left and am on subs now but I feel so bad I was to just go out and say F it ( you no what I mean) so is there any wY to increase my dose or split it up to feel better? I need help����
