Basically the high from meth is not as intense or as immediate as cocaine, lasts a lot longer, and does not have you craving more as quickly as cocaine does.

This is exactly true but it depends a bit how you define ‘high’ at least as far as IV shots go. The IV shot from cocaine is immediate and feels like a freight train running through your head, however I would not describe it as ‘euphoric’ in the same way the IV shot meth seems to flood your whole body with euphoria. Coke is a more mental high and meth more a near orgasmic body high (caveat: when tolerance is very low and when it is a decent sized IV shot) . A large part of the difference between a coke high and a meth high is that meth releases 3X more dopamine than coke does.

Also cravings from coke are from hell but they don’t last very long. Cravings from meth might only appear 2-3 days after you last took some but they are at least as powerful as coke cravings. It’s easier to beat a coke craving than a meth craving. On an IV coke binge, cravings can become overpowering as fast as 20 minutes after your previous shot.
