Hey bluelight, been quite awhile since I was on here and I've always valued this communities input. So basically I recently found out I have herpes, which has been really fucking hard but I'm making my way through it and I know its not the end of the world. My question to you kind people, has anyone experienced this before, how do you proceed with future partners, when to tell them, etc. Really any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Unfortunately you have to tell them as soon as possible.

An acquaintance of mine (not a friend, just someone I know) has HIV. He did not tell a partner, had sex, ended up in jail. So yeah. Don't do that. It could ruin someone's life and potentially your own life.

I'm really sorry, it is a very tough situation. But ensure that you tell potential partners asap. <3

I say, stick to Adult videos & wackadoodledooing for expression of sexual passions while you are contagious with any STDs.

Peace,
Oao

Herpes is a bit of a non sequitur as far as STIs go, like warts. You can't spread it unless you've got an outbreak, you type like a bloke so you won't have a problem - can always see the outbreak on your knob. The whole porn industry and most famous people who fuck a lot have it..

My girl cousin caught herpes off the first guy she was in a relationship with haha.. shame she's a sensitive, weak bodied chik because she's had nerve problems since then (which could be psychosomatic). You could be one of the lucky cunts who only has a couple outbreaks then never hears from it again.

Contrary to what had been stated above herpes can be spread even while between outbreaks. Look up viral shedding and herpes. Furthermore condemns don't cover everywhere that the virus might reside. Unfortunately the time for casual sex is over for you, unless you are an ass that doesn't care about infecting others.

There are dating sites though specifically for people with herpes. From what I understand your chances for scoring are much higher using these websites compared to your standard dating websites.
