I've done a quick search of this forum + google but haven't found anything conclusive. I have a mate (not SWIM, an actual mate) who absolutely swears that taking an SSRI (prozac) right when he's about to fall asleep after a roll will totally prevent the scat/pingover feeling. I can imagine some truth here as the SSRI mechanism of action might work to counteract the serotonin drought that is usually supposed to cause the depression and apathy that normally follows a roll, but it could just be a placebo he's feeling. Has anyone heard this before? I'm new to the scene but not new to the drug. If not, would it be dangerous to try it out for myself?

I heard the same thing, from an acquaintance. He takes it for a couple of days after the roll. Claims that it works for him.
